 Handling & Precautions

  • Safe Use:
    Avoid sudden temperature changes to maintain longevity
    Ensure proper seating within filtration assemblies to prevent breakage
  • Cleaning:
    Rinse immediately after use
    For thorough cleaning, use mild detergents or solvent cleaning, followed by drying
     Can be cleaned using ultrasonic baths
  • Autoclaving:
    Fully autoclavable at standard steam sterilisation settings
    Avoid exceeding recommended temperature limits (~500°C)
  • Do’s & Don’ts:
    Do: Inspect regularly for cracks or clogged pores
    Don’t: Use abrasive tools that may damage the sintered surface
  • Best Practices:
    Backflush when needed to clear particulate buildup. Store in dry, clean conditions to prevent contamination
